  • Lotus Flower or Water Lily?

    Water Lily by you.
    Is this a water lily or lotus flower? I've been told that it's both, but whatever. I tried to HDR this but I don't think flowers look great when it's HDRed since they are such delicate in nature.

    Hawaii trip is canceled so I won't be able to go *sad face* but it's ok, I'll go back again the near future, thanks Ryan for trying to make my trip happen!

    Midterms - I have TWO of them. I withdrew myself from tonight's event so I can study for m midterm - very proud of myself. Now, I must disappear into my room and bury my head in mis libros.

    I like all of them! Help me choose!!

    I rarely do any SP but I did a few earlier this year with the 50mm 1.8. I'm looking to post one on my facebook profile pic. For now I have the 1st one on it but I think I'll change it.

    So tickets to Hawaii are encredibly cheap. I have a friend that perhaps can go with me so I can resume and finish my Hawaii trip this time (long story on the 1st trip). I hope this time I can enjoy my trip and treat it as a vacation than to visit a friend (on the 1st trip). I must enjoy myself this time and take more photos for myself to keep. If plans go through, I will be there early may and hopefully get to meet Ryan there. I will give him a call perhaps tonight or tomorrow to see how my trip will be projected as and if he can spare time so we can shoot together.

    I hope everyone had a great green day yesterday.

    I will be posting some wedding pics and Flower Field pics from SD this weekend so I'll be excited to show new photos instead of using old ones.

    Oo!! And tonight I will be revisiting LA's Griffith Observatory for some HDR and long exposure shots. I need to put my tripod to use since I don't mind lugging it around. My Friday is today, so have a good weekend!

  • Cold --> Flu

    Ok so just as I thought I was done fighting with my cold, I got the flu! My body is aching. I'm a walking medicine cabinet. I'm taking so much med, ,yet I still feel like crap. Argghh!!! I wish I had someone sweet to take care of me, unfortunately no one is worthy. Us women need to hold our values high and only allow men who respects and value us to take care of us and give kisses on our foreheads, agree? Ok it's only 10:56 PM in LA and I'm going to bed. Gotta wake up tomorrow at 8AM to do hw so I can turn it in. I hate the flu!!!!!

    I'm still stuck with a bad cough that won't seem to go away. Yes, it's the thick mucus kind. I know you didn't want to hear about it, but I wanted to share it anyways =D. I skipped class this morning because the cough was really bad that it would have been horrible if I would have coughed throughout the entire hour. I went to the remaining 2 classes as I got better. So many group projects to do. Thank goodness they aren't the boring kinds.

    So I've been getting texts and photo messages from a particular someone trying to remind me of the "happy" past that is now gone. I don't get it, it's over with, that person has someone new, so why is it necessary? Some things are just better left broken then hurt yourself by trying to pick the pieces back up. Besides, I've moved on.

    Since today was such a beautiful day, I walked home from campus. It was a very refreshing one and I took my time to enjoy looking at the flowers that were blooming and of course the nice Riverside air. It didn't feel dreading at all like my other walks. Hope this nice weather keeps up.
